Lloyd Royse
Lloyd is the original creator of Royse Lawn Care. Most of his adult life and career has been centered around turf grass. He started his career in 1974 at Leisure Lawn and also spent a big chunk of his career at Motz Lawn Care. He was a professor at Cincinnati State in the 90’s and taught courses on Golf Course Management and Athletic Field Maintenance. He decided to take a leap of faith in 1999 and go out to work on his own.
Lloyd is the father to Nathan and to his daughter LeAnn. He is a phenomenal hands on grandfather to his 4 grandchildren ages 15-22, and spent many week nights and weekends on ball fields watching them play the sports they loved. We finally let him retire in 2015 but he still spends a lot of mornings in the shop still drinking coffee with the guys and doing maintenance on any broken down machines when he wants to tinker with something. He enjoys casinos and traveling both domestically and internationally. Lloyd recently became a snowbird and is now spending his winters in sunny Florida.
